Soju is a Korean liquor. Its taste is comparable to vodka but is sweeter and not as harsh.
At home, we decided to make this "cocktail" to welcome the incoming summer.

Mixing fruit with Soju is a common practice in Korean households and is not always done with a watermelon. You can also use this recipe with various other fruits such as pineapple.
Watermelon Soju:
1. Watermelon
2. Soju
3. Icecubes
Cut the watermelon in half; keep one half (preferably the one that can stand on its own) and put the other away in the fridge.
Scoop out all of the fruit in the watermelon and put half of it away. Crush the remaining fruit and put it back into the watermelon shell. Pour soju into the watermelon, mix and enjoy! Add ice cubes to keep it cool. Serve into cups with a ladle.
After finishing the drink itself, you can always scoop up the remaining fruit and enjoy once more :)
